Dicari Kosong, Kosong Dicari

 kosong dicari, dicari kosong

Manusia(wi)

Entahlah. Berpura-pura tidaklah menyakitkan, katanya.

Scared

Have you ever been scared of what you see when you look into the mirror? I’m scared.... Scared of what I see when I look right into the mirror. It’s dark, creepy...and looks sad. I try waking up everyday  with a smile. Pushing aside all the dead feelings lingering inside me, but...it never works. It’s nothing new to me anyways, I’ve learnt to leave with it. I’ve learnt to ignore all the dark and crazy emotions I get when looking right into the mirror. It’s just a mirror. Just glass. Just a reflection of myself. I can’t help but wonder, if the reflection I see everyday is truly me or... Guess I’ll find out someday.

Trigger Warning! In this blog, I'm going to talk about  How to care for those with a mental health disorder Millions of people struggle with some kind of mental disorder. Whether it may be, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, depression, OCD, BPD, Schizophrenia or any other disorder. We've all had an experience with something like this, either it being ourselves dealing with it or someone we know. Here are a few ways on how to care for someone who is dealing with (a) mental disorder(s).  Be Compassionate. Being compassionate towards someone dealing with a mental disorder is very helpful for many reasons. It makes them feel comforted, cared for and not alone. There is a sense of safety and security while being around someone who is showing compassion, sympathy and kindness. Don’t Force Conversation. If a person is having a problem, your go to thought may be to try and get them to talk about how they feel. When you may have good intentions, it could possibly ...

Stendhal Syndrome

Trigger warning!  Stendhal Syndrome A psychosomatic disorder, Stendhal Syndrome causes rapid heartbeat, dizziness, sweating, disorientation, fainting, and confusion when someone is looking at artwork with which he or she deeply emotionally connects. Symptoms Anxiety, dizziness, tachycardia, hallucinations, or delusions Stendhal Syndrome is not merely a modern phenomenon. In 1817, a French author named Marie-Henri Beyle described his experience visiting the Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence. Beyle, who wrote using the pseudonym Stendhal, felt overwhelmed by all the beauty and rich history surrounding him: The Basilica featured magnificent frescoes created by the Italian Renaissance artist Giotto, and it was where Machiavelli, Michelangelo, and Galileo were buried. Emotionally, he felt inspired by the sublime beauty, but physically, he experienced heart palpitations and weak, shaky legs. Over a century later, visitors to Florence continued to suffer from similar ...

TRIGGER WARNING SOME THINGS IN THIS POST MIGHT BE TRIGGERING   IF YOU CANT HANDLE THIS TOPIC PLEASE EXIT OUT NOW Hello! Some people can’t handle a topic like this or the things said in this post, if you are one of those people, please exit this post immediately. We have no intention of causing harm to anyone with this takeover. It’s merely to educate the people that don’t have these mental disorders and help them understand it more. Proceed with caution! Depression

Image
Trigger Warning! Like the title says, this post is about depression and mental illness. It includes those topics, along with suicide, abuse and grief. Do not read it if you're not comfortable doing so! However, the goal of this post is to help and aware people. As you can read in the definition above, depression is a mental illness that can affect your capacity to go through a way and can change the way you see life. Note that it doesn't mean that you're crazy, depression is totally normal. It is a mental state that brings a lot of exhaustion and makes you reconsider a lot of things about yourself and about life. It's deeper than just being sad all the time, at times you could feel down for no particular reasons. Every person is different, and some could even feel anger, instead of sadness. It is considered as a mood disorder, so it can be solved with hormones, which I'll mention later on. The causes of depression can be various. They range from biolog...

Slut-shaming x Victim Blaming

A woman brought you into this world, so you have no right to disrespect one- Tupac Shakur “Kamu pake baju apa saat itu?” tanya seorang sahabat ketika sahabat perempuannya menceritakan bahwa ia baru saja mengalami pelecehan seksual. “Udah denger gosipnya belum?
